Dr. Gurpal Sandhu

Dr. Gurpal Sandhu grew up on a dairy farm, his parents were dairy farmers. Dr. Sandhu did his internship at University of Tuskegee in Alabama, United States. His first job was at the emergency and referral centre in Chicago Illinois. Dr. Sandhu started working at a 24 hour emergency hospital in Toronto where he worked for 10 years. He gained valuable experience treating critically ill patients and performing surgeries. Dr. Sandhu is married and has 2 children and a very smart dog named “Twinkle”. He lives in Stoney Creek.

Bethany Hordyk - RVT

Bethany Hordyk is a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and has been working at Millen Road Animal Hospital since September, 2010. She obtained her Veterinary Technician diploma from St. Clair College in Windsor and, shortly after, wrote her Registration exam. Bethany has always loved animals and was determined to have a career that would allow her to work with animals every day. She has a 3 year old mixed breed dog named Chelsee, which she adopted during her second year of college. She also owns a 12 year old thoroughbred gelding named Jerry. She has been horseback riding since she was 10 and bought her own horse when she was 18.

Cara Contardi

Cara Contardi is the woman usually at the reception. She is a graduate of the 230ce course in Small Animal Acupressure from the Tallgrass Animal Acupressure Institute in Colorado and she is also in process of obtaining her equine certification. She is also an Authorized Wildlife Custodian and runs her own wildlife centre called Urban Wildlife Care in Grimsby, Ont. She has a cat named Max. Brittany Binkley RVT

Brittany Binkley is a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and joined our team in June of 2017. She graduated from the Wildlife Rehabilitation program at Northern College and a year after graduating wrote her Registration exam. Brittany is dedicated to helping animals of all shapes and sizes. She has taken some nutrition courses in school and is willing to help clients find the right food for their beloved pet. She has always enjoyed the company of her own pets which have included Beta fish, a Himalayan cat and a Springer Spaniel. Currently, Brittany enjoys the company of her pond fish and a family Leopard gecko named Cody. When she is not working, Brittany enjoys camping at Algonquin Park with her family and friends.
